The two thyroid antibodies mainly include ATPO and ATg antibodies, if both antibodies are high, autoimmune thyroiditis is considered, mainly including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, atrophic thyroiditis, thyroiditis with normal thyroid function, painless thyroiditis, postpartum thyroiditis, etc. It is necessary to combine with thyroid ultrasound and thyroid puncture to make a definite diagnosis. In the early stage of the disease, only two antibodies are positive and there are no clinical symptoms. Only some patients will develop hypothyroidism in the late stage and need to use eugenol replacement therapy. If the thyroid gland is enlarged with obvious compression symptoms and cannot be relieved by medication, surgery can be considered. Limiting iodine intake is also needed and may help to stop the progression of autoimmune destruction that occurs.
