Is ulcerated stomach cancer serious?

Ulcerated gastric cancer is only a manifestation of gastric cancer, and it cannot be considered serious or not serious by ulcerated gastric cancer. The prognosis of patients is judged according to the clinical stage of tumor and the depth of tumor infiltration, whether there is distant metastasis and the type of pathology. Early gastric cancer is completely curable and patients can achieve cure through surgery. For advanced gastric cancer, if there is lymph node metastasis or the pathological type is more malignant, appropriate radiotherapy can be administered and the patient can basically be cured. For advanced stage patients, patients can have distant metastasis or local invasion of other tissues or organs, and patients cannot be cured. Chemotherapy is administered, and appropriate chemotherapy regimens are selected, but also comprehensive examinations such as bone scans, CT, MRI, or PET-CT are done to help see if the patient has other metastases, and the treatment plan determined.
