Keeping anorectal patients out of pain

The saying “nine out of ten hemorrhoids” speaks to the multiplicity of anorectal diseases. Many of these common and frequent anorectal diseases require surgical treatment. When it comes to surgery, people naturally associate unbearable severe pain with surgery, so there is the saying that anorectal surgery is the most painful in the world, and this is the main reason why many anorectal patients who should receive surgery in a timely manner are deterred by the “pain”. This is the main reason why many anorectal patients who should receive surgery in time are deterred from doing so. This fear of pain and inability to receive treatment in a timely manner has caused many patients to delay the early stage of the disease, which is easily treated, into a late stage of incurable disease. This not only adds to the pain of patients, but also affects the research and development of the anorectal discipline. It is a dream that has been difficult for anorectal surgeons and patients to realize for many years, so that anorectal surgery patients no longer have pain. With the development of medical science, this dream has become a reality. In order to explore a method of painless treatment of anorectal diseases, medical staff of our department have conducted a lot of researches in various fields from basic and clinical aspects, drawing on relevant experience at home and abroad, and have achieved some results. We have summarized the “painless treatment for anorectal diseases”, so that patients with anorectal diseases have no pain or basically no pain after surgery, and patients can move freely and take care of themselves after surgery, realizing the painless treatment method of painless incision, painless medicine change and painless defecation after surgery, so that patients with anorectal surgery can complete the treatment and rehabilitation process of diseases in a painless or basically painless state. This is a welcome progress. If the traditional surgical method is used to treat intractable diseases such as circumferential mixed hemorrhoids, high complex anal fistulas and abscesses, the patient will experience intolerable severe pain after surgery and will need morphine analgesics for pain relief. Stress and bed rest can also cause various complications in other body systems. With painless treatment technology, patients can get out of bed after recovering from anesthesia, and there is no or basically no pain, and patients suffer less, heal faster, and have fewer complications and sequelae. The painless treatment technology for anorectal diseases has fulfilled the dream of anorectal doctors and patients to treat anorectal diseases painlessly.
