Pingqi San is a traditional Chinese medicine formula with the efficacy of drying dampness, transporting the spleen, moving qi and harmonizing the stomach, and is mainly used for the treatment of dampness stagnation in the spleen and stomach (dampness stagnation in the spleen and stomach).
The formula is composed of Atractylodes macrocephala, Atractylodes macrocephala, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Glycyrrhiza Glabra, and has the efficacy of drying dampness, transporting the spleen, moving qi and harmonizing the stomach, and is clinically used in the treatment of dampness stagnation of spleen and stomach, which is seen in the treatment of epigastric distension, inability to think of food and drink, insipidness of taste, nausea and vomiting, belching (belching), acid swallowing (swallowing of acid that is uplifted from the stomach to the mouth and pharynx), and heaviness of limbs and other conditions.
It should be noted that the formula is pungent, warm, bitter and dry, which tends to injure yin and deplete qi, and is therefore not recommended for patients with yin deficiency and dryness.
For patients who need to use Ping Gastric San, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for consultation and treatment under the guidance of a professional physician.
