Spider shaped blood on children’s body may be related to reticular dermal vasculitis, spider nevus, etc. Usually, medication and physical therapy can be taken to deal with it. 1. Reticulo-cutaneous vasculitis: Reticulo-cutaneous vasculitis may be caused by reticular erythema, which is also called fire-excited erythema, and children with the disease will have spider shaped blood on their bodies, and can usually be treated by oral antihistamine drugs, such as loratadine, levocetirizine hydrochloride, etc. However, it should be noted that children under 2 years of age should not use the above drugs. Spider nevus: It is a kind of idiopathic capillary dilatation, formed by the dilatation of the end section of small arterial branches of the skin. The nevus has a center point, surrounded by small blood vessel branches in radial shape, with a spider-like morphology, which can be seen in patients with cirrhosis of the liver, acute hepatitis and other liver diseases, and can also be seen in healthy people, such as children, pregnant women and other people. Spider nevi caused by liver damage are mainly treated for primary diseases. Damage that occurs in children mostly persists, and a few may subside on their own. Spider nevi that occur on the face of children can be treated with physical (e.g., carbon dioxide laser) and surgical treatments. There are other causes of spider nevus in children (e.g. capillary dilatation), so it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to find out the cause of the disease and then carry out standardized treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
