What are the symptoms of stomach cancer before dying?

Symptoms that may appear before the terminal stage of gastric cancer include: severe cachexia, large amount of ascites, neuropsychiatric symptoms, severe pain, progressive decline of vital signs and so on.
1. Severe cachexia: most patients with advanced gastric cancer have serious difficulty in eating, and cancer itself is a consumptive disease, which consumes a lot of nutrients and energy, so most patients with advanced malignant tumors will have cachexia manifestations, such as serious wasting, muscle weakness, anemia, and so on.
2. Large amount of ascites: gastric cancer in advanced stage can have extensive abdominal metastasis and form large amount of ascites, which will be manifested as abdominal distension and respiratory difficulties.
3. Neuropsychiatric symptoms: long-term disease torture, pain, malnutrition and so on can affect patients’ mental state, and even indifference, delirium, drowsiness, coma until death.
4. Severe pain: extensive tumor metastasis of advanced gastric cancer compressing nerves or bone metastasis will cause severe pain, and many patients need to use painkillers frequently.
5. Progressive decline of vital signs: extensive metastasis of malignant tumor will eventually cause failure of organs in the whole body and progressive decline of vital signs such as respiration, heart rate, pulse rate, blood pressure, etc. until death.
