Sildenafil, generically known as sildenafil citrate tablets, is not used once a week, but is taken as needed, before the start of sexual intercourse. Taking it once a week does not produce good results.

It is effective in improving erectile function when taken about 1 hour before the start of sexual intercourse. The efficacy of this product lasts for a short period of time and should be taken on an as-needed basis; if it is taken only once a week, it will not produce significant efficacy.
Common adverse reactions to this product include indigestion, nasal congestion, flushing, rash, dizziness, headache, visual abnormalities, etc. It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to this product and those who are taking nitrate drugs.
