How long does it take to get the results of a radiograph?

The results of the radiographs will be available in about 30-60 minutes; the time will not be exactly the same as each hospital has different instruments and the doctor’s ability to operate them is somewhat different. Taking films, i.e. the usual X-ray radiography examination, is a preliminary screening and diagnosis of certain diseases. Through X-ray testing, it is possible to determine whether the patient has orthopedic diseases, such as bone fractures; cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and pelvic pathologies, and whether there are any abnormal lesions in the lungs. The results are usually available in about 30 to 60 minutes, and may be available in about half an hour in the emergency department due to the seriousness of the patient’s condition. After the film is taken, the doctor will make a diagnosis and a supervising doctor will review it before issuing a report. It is recommended to consult with the radiology department of a regular hospital about the timing of the X-ray.
