Facial palsy typing

In clinical practice, facial palsy is divided into three main categories: the first type is peripheral facial palsy, which is a disease with the main clinical manifestations of crooked corners of the mouth, shallowing of the mid-nasal and mid-human grooves, difficulty in closing the eyes, and disappearance of the frontal lines. This type of facial palsy occurs because the face is attacked by the evil of wind and cold, and the function of the facial nerve is affected by the stagnation of cold and gas. The second type of facial palsy is central facial palsy caused by diseases in the head, such as cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, and intracranial tumor, with the main clinical manifestations being distorted corners of the mouth, difficulty in closing the eyes, and shallowing of the mid-nasal and mid-human grooves. The third type is mixed facial palsy, which has central clinical manifestations as well as symptoms of peripheral facial palsy. If symptoms of facial palsy appear, you need to go to the rehabilitation department or acupuncture department for examination and treatment in time, take the medication explained by the doctor in charge on time, and insist on facial acupuncture, tui-na, acupoint injection and other treatments to gradually improve through comprehensive treatment and systematic therapy.
