The efficacy of drinking water boiled with lycopodium in children

Children drinking water boiled with Lycopodium has the efficacy of eliminating food and bloating, lowering qi and resolving phlegm; however, the effect is limited and generally fails to achieve the therapeutic effect. Laptop seeds are pungent, sweet and neutral in nature; they belong to the lung, spleen and stomach meridians. It is effective in eliminating food stagnation, removing flatulence, lowering Qi and resolving phlegm. It is used for food stagnation, epigastric (abdominal) distension and pain, constipation, stagnation and diarrhea, phlegm congestion and cough. This product is pungent and exhausting, so it should be used with caution in cases of qi deficiency and in the absence of food stagnation (indigestion of food stagnating in the stomach) and phlegm stagnation. Lycopodium should not be used with ginseng. Note that tea is not a substitute for medication and regular treatment under medical supervision is recommended if desired results are to be achieved.
