Can mid-stage esophageal cancer undergo minimally invasive surgery?

Minimally invasive surgery is not allowed in the middle stage of esophageal cancer (esophageal cancer).
Esophageal cancer can be treated with minimally invasive surgery at very early stage, and the treatment effect is better under endoscopy. However, for early and middle stage esophageal cancer patients, they should receive surgical treatment as early as possible, especially in middle stage of esophageal cancer, metastasis of the tumor often occurs, and although distant metastasis may not have occurred, taking minimally invasive surgery, the therapeutic effect is not very good.
In addition, besides surgical treatment, mid-stage esophageal cancer also needs to be combined with other treatment methods, such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and some patients can achieve radical cure after comprehensive treatment.
Once esophageal cancer is diagnosed, patients need to go to the hospital in time, cooperate with the doctor’s treatment plan and actively carry out the treatment, and go to the hospital for rechecking regularly after the treatment.
