Epididymal nodules are very common clinically, and according to the nature of nodules, they can be divided into inflammatory nodules of epididymis, epididymal cysts, malignant tumors of epididymis and so on. Treatment methods include the following: 1. For inflammatory nodules, they are mainly treated by anti-infection, but if the nodules cannot be eliminated after inflammation control, surgical removal can be considered; 2. Epididymal cysts, which are benign lesions and partly seminal cysts, are generally advocated for direct surgical removal; 3. Malignant tumors of the epididymis, which require active surgical treatment. The surgical treatment of epididymal nodules requires a comprehensive decision based on the patient’s age, whether he is married or not, and whether he has fertility requirements.
