What is white vaginal discharge during pregnancy?

White discharge from the vaginal opening in women during pregnancy may be a physiological manifestation or it may be caused by inflammation. If white discharge appears in early pregnancy without any discomfort and the discharge resembles curd, it is mostly considered to be normal leucorrhea flowing from the vagina during pregnancy. This is because the high level of estrogen and progesterone stimulation after pregnancy leads to the formation of curd-like white discharge, which does not feel strange because there is no inflammation. If a woman develops white discharge in the middle of pregnancy, which looks like bean curd and is accompanied by a burning and stinging sensation at the vaginal opening, it should be considered to be caused by pregnancy combined with mycosis fungoides. If the white nasal discharge suddenly appears after 37 weeks of pregnancy and is particularly sticky, consider that it may be a symptom of preterm labor.
