To date, although there are many treatments for this disease, there is still a lack of special effective methods. Most foreign countries use estrogen-suppressing drugs, vitamin drugs, painkillers or preventive surgery. Domestically, traditional Chinese medicine is used for treatment. The beginning of hormone therapy will have better efficacy, but it is difficult to control the application time and dosage, and the disadvantage of overkill will often occur. Improper application may aggravate endocrine disruption. At present, hormone therapy is rarely used as routine treatment. Vitamin A, B, C and E can improve liver function, regulate endocrine metabolism, and also improve the function of the plant nerves, which can be used as an adjunctive medicine for this disease. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that can reduce LDL and increase progesterone, which can relieve breast pain and reduce the size of the nodules, but the recurrence rate is high and the efficacy is not obvious. For patients with intolerable breast pain, painkillers can be taken for a short period of time to relieve the pain. There is no indication for surgical treatment of mastoproliferative disease per se. The purpose of surgical treatment is mainly to clarify the diagnosis and avoid missed or delayed diagnosis of breast cancer. With researchers’ in-depth study of the disease, experts have found that there is a certain relationship between breast hyperplasia and the occurrence of breast cancer, but not all patients with breast hyperplasia will turn into breast cancer, and only a few patients are pre-cancerous lesions. This is why early treatment is so important! If the breast hyperplasia lump is large and hard, accompanied by bloody nipple overflow, and the symptoms are not relieved by treatment, but the lump continues to increase in size or harden, patients are recommended to have surgery. Surgery is also recommended for those new breast lumps that appear after menopause, or with a family history of breast cancer, or supported by pathologic examination. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with its unique advantages, has now become the mainstay of treatment for the disease. According to TCM, the disease is categorized into two types: Liver Depression and Phlegm Condensation and Chong Ren Dysregulation. For patients with frequent emotional disorders, medications that ease the liver and regulate qi are often given. For women with irregular menstruation, medications to regulate menstruation are given. The duration of internal Chinese medicine varies from person to person. After treatment, the medicine can be stopped when the lumps disappear and the breast pain is eliminated. For mild symptoms, the medication is usually taken for about 3 months; for severe symptoms, the medication is taken for 1-2 years. Stop taking Chinese medicine during menstruation.
