There is no training to restore astigmatism. A child’s astigmatism that is mild and does not affect vision usually needs no treatment. If the astigmatism is medium to high, it needs to be corrected by glasses and surgical treatment. Astigmatism is a refractive error that causes blurred vision, loss of vision, and visual fatigue in children. Once astigmatism occurs, it can be cured surgically in some children, but other methods of vision correction are lifelong. If the child does not have any condition that affects his/her vision, he/she can be observed for the time being and no special treatment is needed. For children with moderate to high myopia, amblyopia may result and refractive correction is needed. Frames and corneal contact lenses can be worn to correct vision. Once diagnosed with astigmatism, one should actively cooperate with the doctor to take treatment measures.
