Symptoms of cerebral hemorrhage are mainly related to the site of bleeding, the amount of bleeding, etc. They include general symptoms, speech, state of consciousness, cranial nerve damage, motor and sensory dysfunction, and so on. 1. General symptoms: when cerebral hemorrhage develops, if cerebral edema occurs and intracranial pressure increases, there may be dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms. 2. Speech state: if the speech center is damaged it will lead to aphasia. The patient may have slurred speech or may not be able to understand other people or himself/herself. 3. Consciousness state: If the patient’s bleeding is small it will not affect the consciousness, but in severe cases, it will lead to drowsiness, lethargy, coma and so on. 4. Cranial nerve damage: including vision loss, eye movement dysfunction, choking on drinking water, difficulty in swallowing, and distorted mouth and eyes. 5. Motor and sensory dysfunction: at the onset of the disease, the patient will have monoparesis or hemiparesis, hemiplegia, hemiparetic sensory dysfunction and so on. After the onset of cerebral hemorrhage, patients should go to the hospital or consult the doctor immediately to avoid delay.
