What is a false pregnancy

False pregnancy, i.e. false pregnancy, refers to women who experience pregnancy symptoms but are not pregnant after examination, mostly caused by physiological factors, and it is recommended to consult a doctor if the symptoms persist without relief.
Pseudo-pregnancy is mostly caused by factors such as overwork, mental tension, stress, etc., as well as the urgency of wanting to get pregnant, resulting in anxiety and other emotions, leading to endocrine disorders, resulting in delayed menstruation, vomiting, nausea, self-consciousness of the fetus movement and other symptoms of pregnancy.
Generally, through blood or urine human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) test and ultrasonography, one can distinguish between pregnancy and pseudo-pregnancy. HCG in a woman’s body will be elevated when she is pregnant, whereas the HCG of pseudo-pregnant patients is a normal value, and there is no fetus present in the uterus of pseudo-pregnant patients when they are examined by ultrasonography.
Pseudo-pregnant patients should actively adjust their own state of mind to avoid anxiety, and if the symptoms continue to be unrelieved, they should be treated accordingly under the guidance of a doctor in order to avoid delaying their condition.
