How to make the whites of your eyes clear

The cloudy whites of the eyes may be caused by physiological factors such as age, or by pathological causes such as conjunctival nevus pigmentosus or cataracts, which can be treated conservatively or surgically depending on the cause of the problem. 1. Physiological factors: If it occurs in the elderly, it is considered to be caused by aging, resulting in keratinization of the exposed area of the conjunctival epithelium. No special treatment can be done at present. If the cloudy whites of the eyes affect the vision, glasses can be worn. 2. Pathologic factors: (1) Conjunctival pigmented nevus: it is a kind of congenital benign misshapen tumor that occurs between the eyeballs or the tail of the eye. After aggravation of the condition, pigment accumulation in the conjunctival tissue will cause turbidity in the white of the eye. If the tumor is small, it is recommended to observe it regularly, and for larger tumors, it needs to be surgically removed in time. (2) Cataract: It is an aging disease. When the disease worsens, the degeneration of lens proteins will result in clouding of the white of the eye. Glutathione eye drops can be used for treatment. For more serious conditions, cataract needle extraction or cataract intracapsular extraction should be performed in time. If the clouding of the white of the eye is caused by the above reasons, targeted treatment is needed, and the specific treatment plan should be carried out under the guidance of a professional physician.
