Non-lifting refers to the Chinese medicine disease impotence. In addition to kidney yang deficiency, impotence also has other evidence types such as liver qi stagnation (poor qi and blood transportation of the liver, emotional depression), dampness-heat underflow (dampness and heat invading the intestines, bladder, pubic area, lower limbs, etc.), deficiency of the heart and spleen, and kidney injury due to fear, which are not all caused by kidney yang deficiency. The impotence of kidney yang deficiency is mainly manifested on the basis of inactivity as thin and cold semen, tiredness, fear of cold, cold limbs, white color, dizziness, tinnitus, lumbar and knee soreness (feeling of soreness and weakness in waist and knee), frequent nocturnal enuresis, pale and fat tongue, thin and white moss, and thin and fine pulse. 2. Deficiency of heart and spleen manifests as impotence, aggravated by exertion, palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), insomnia, sleeplessness, fatigue, low food intake, abdominal distension and loose stools (thin and unshaped feces), and so on. 3. Liver qi stagnation (poor transportation of qi and blood in the liver and depression) manifests as failure to lift, depression, distension and pain in the chest and ribs, belching (hiccups), distension and discomfort in the stomach and epigastric region, and loose stools (thin and unformed feces).
