Confined emphysema pulmonary blisters are the occurrence of emphysema in the lungs with a limited scope of the lesion, for example, it is the occurrence of confined emphysema leading to pulmonary blisters in a particular lobe or segment of the lungs.

Limiting emphysema blisters cannot be reversed, and treatment is aimed at slowing the progression of emphysema.
