How to fix a loose tooth with trauma

Loose fixation of a traumatic tooth has to be analyzed and what is the cause of the situation. If the tooth is semi-dislocated, the tooth is not completely lost but only displaced, first anesthetize it and put it back to its original position, it is certainly not stable, and needs to be fixed to the neighboring teeth. In the past, we used to use metal wires or metal splints, which are more stable with wire fixation, but affect the aesthetics. Wires can affect eating and scratch the lips. Nowadays, we use resin-based fiber bands, which are softer and can fit perfectly with the shape of the neighboring teeth, with resin and adhesive glued to the neighboring teeth to achieve the fixation method. Complete tooth dislocation requires regular nerve treatment after 2 weeks of reset and fixation, and after the tooth is completely dislocated and reimplanted, root canal treatment should be routinely performed after 2 weeks, because the nerve of a completely dislocated affected tooth will definitely be necrotic.
