Immunotherapy for lung cancer is usually 4-6 cycles, after which the decision of whether to continue using it will be made according to the treatment effect and the change of disease. Both small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer are suitable for immunotherapy, which can be carried out with PD-1 and PDL-1 inhibitors, such as pembrolizumab and divalizumab, etc. The general course of treatment is 4-6 cycles, after which some patients can continue to use the immunotherapy drugs for maintenance treatment. Small cell lung cancer patients usually also need to be treated with combination chemotherapy. In advanced non-small cell lung cancer, immunotherapy drugs can be used directly without testing PD-1 or PD-L1 expression. Patients are advised to take active treatment under doctor’s guidance and have regular review to avoid delaying the disease.
