Adenoid and tonsil surgery is usually reviewed around 2 weeks after surgery.
After adenoid and tonsil surgery, a layer of white membrane will be generated in the operation area to protect the wound, and it usually takes about 2~3 weeks to recover, and about 2 weeks to one month to recheck after the operation.
After surgery, you need to eat a light diet, avoid spicy and stimulating foods, do not exercise strenuously, avoid repeated exposure to cold and flu, etc., to prevent secondary infections and secondary bleeding.
About one month after the operation, we will review the wound to see if there is any redness, swelling, blood seepage, infection in the surgical area, and whether there is any change in the patient’s symptoms before and after the operation. After the surgery, the review time can be adjusted appropriately, which can be slightly extended or shortened. As far as possible, follow the doctor’s instructions for review.
