The possible clinical causes of black teeth in children include dental caries, medication, and food residue.
1. Dental caries: this is the most common clinical situation. Children often eat candy or teeth cleaning is not in place, etc., will cause their teeth to be damaged by bacteria and dental damage.
2. Drugs: Some drugs can cause damage to children’s teeth, such as tetracycline, and so on, and thus children may have black teeth after using drugs.
3. Food residue: The child does not clean his teeth after eating black colored food and thus blackened teeth may be observed. After cleaning the teeth, the condition will disappear.
If your child has this condition, parents are advised to take him/her to the hospital for a dental checkup for a clear diagnosis and targeted treatment.
