There is no such thing as the strongest point for stopping sweating, but points such as Yin Qie, He Gu and Fu Yi can be used to stop sweating. 1. Yin Qie is located in the anterior region of the forearm, 0.5 inches above the transverse stripe on the distal side of the palm of the wrist, at the radial edge of the ulnar flexor carpi radialis tendon. It is used for treating heart pain, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), vomiting of blood, epistaxis, and violent mute (sudden loss of voice). 2. Hegu is located on the back of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, at the midpoint of the radial side of the second metacarpal bone. It is used in treating fever, headache, redness and swelling of the eyes, epistaxis (nosebleed), sore throat, toothache, deafness, swelling of the face, excessive sweating, thirst, jaundice, dysmenorrhea, menstrual closure, and stagnant labor. 3. Fuxiao is located in the inner side of the calf, 2 inches above the tip of the inner ankle and the anterior margin of the Achilles tendon. It is used for treating edema, sweating syndrome (no sweating or excessive sweating), abdominal distension, diarrhea, intestinal sounding, strong pain in the waist and spine, and impotence paralysis of the lower limbs (lower limbs are weak, numb and painful). Please do not perform acupuncture on the above points on your own to avoid risks.
