Dosage of methyldopa for early stage Parkinson’s patients

Many patients with Parkinson’s disease are afraid to take medications such as Medopa and Xanax because of the fear of long-term adverse reactions to medications such as Medopa and Xanax, especially some relatively young patients with Parkinson’s disease. Excessive fear of adverse reactions to medications such as medopa leads to unnecessary and excessive delay of medopa treatment in patients, which delays treatment and affects quality of life. Recent studies abroad, as well as the results of our team’s research, have found that for patients with early Parkinson’s disease, it is possible to take methadopa or restorative for a relatively long period of time with controlled drug doses, and it is safe and effective. For the prevention and delay of motor complications, the daily dose of methyldopa should be controlled below 400 mg For patients with low body weight, the safe daily dose of methyldopa should be lower, and the results of the study by the team of Titan Hospital are below 300 mg, so that the risk of end-of-dose phenomenon and isokinetic disorder will be significantly reduced in the long term.
