Why do so many people have multiple microscopic nodules in both lungs?

Possible causes of multiple tiny nodules in both lungs include tuberculosis, tuberculosis, pneumonia, lung malignant tumor, etc.

1. Tuberculosis: Mycobacterium tuberculosis into the blood can form blood dissemination tuberculosis, the patient’s lungs can form multiple different sizes of corn-like nodules, which are manifested as multiple tiny nodules in the imaging examination.

2. Nodular disease: Nodular disease is a granulomatous disease that involves multiple systems, and is prevalent in the lungs and lymph nodes. It can form multiple granulomatous nodules in the lungs, and in severe cases, it can lead to progressive pulmonary fibrosis.

3. Pneumonia: Infectious inflammation of the lungs can cause localized infiltration of lung tissue and formation of inflammatory nodules, especially viral and fungal infections can cause multiple infiltration shadows.

4. Lung malignant tumor: multiple malignant nodules may be caused by lung metastasis of malignant tumors in other parts of the body, such as soft tissue sarcoma, endometrial cancer and so on. Primary malignant tumors of the lungs can also have intrapulmonary dissemination to form multiple nodular shadows.

It is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible to clarify the nature of the nodules and give targeted treatment without delay to avoid delaying the condition.
