Breast nodules do not usually go away on their own. There is no clear definition of a breast nodule, it is just a common name for what can be described as a breast nodule, whether you touch it yourself or find it on a physical exam; this description does not refer to the nature of the lesion. Breast nodules are generally not self-healing and treatment varies greatly depending on the nature of the patient’s nodules. Patients with benign nodules that do not have a tendency to grow rapidly and become malignant can be monitored with regular checkups; patients with malignant nodules, such as breast cancer, will require a combination of treatments, mainly surgery. Some patients with breast hyperplasia may also have symptoms of breast nodules, which may disappear after the breast hyperplasia subsides. It is recommended that women conduct monthly breast self-examinations to raise awareness of cancer prevention and seek timely medical attention if they find any abnormal changes in their breasts. If breast nodules are found during physical examination, they should undergo pathologic examination in time and be treated under the guidance of doctors according to the results of the pathology.
