How to tell when an egg has been ovulated

  Ovulation is the process by which a mature follicle ruptures and an egg is expelled from the ovary and falls into the abdominal cavity. A woman’s ovulation date is usually around 14-16 days before her next menstrual period, when intercourse is most likely to result in pregnancy. There are many clinical methods to determine ovulation, which can be chosen according to your situation and needs.  1. Method of determining the presence or absence of ovulation 1. Basal body temperature measurement: Under normal circumstances, the body temperature of women rises 0.3-0.5℃ after ovulation. Place the thermometer under the tongue, measure and record continuously for one month, and find that the increase in body temperature may indicate ovulation. 2. Endometrial biopsy: Take endometrial examination at the hospital before or within 12 hours of menstruation. 3.Uterine mucus method: the mucus is clear, smooth and elastic, just like egg white, with a high degree of drawing and not easily broken. It is the most accurate method at present.  The following precautions should be taken during ovulation to promote the discharge of quality eggs: 1) pay attention to menstrual health and hygiene; 2) avoid overexertion and take more rest; 3) prohibit spicy, hot and other stimulating foods; 4) maintain emotional stability; 5) strengthen physical exercise.
