If you want to restore your eyes to normal, you have to treat the cause of the problem: if it is caused by subluxation of the lens, it can be restored to normal by removing the dislocated lens and implanting an IOL; if it is caused by paralytic strabismus, it can be treated by corrective surgery for strabismus. There are two types of diplopia: monocular diplopia and binocular diplopia, which are caused by different reasons. Monocular diplopia is usually caused by subluxation of the lens, astigmatism, etc., and needs to be examined and treated. Astigmatism can be corrected with glasses, while subluxation of the lens requires surgery to remove the dislocated lens and implant a suspension IOL. Double vision is usually caused by paralytic strabismus, which can be recovered by taking oral medication such as methylcobalamin tablets, and if it cannot be recovered for more than three months, it needs to be treated by corrective surgery for strabismus. Double vision may also be caused by other reasons, which need timely medical treatment.
