Patients with myasthenia gravis are often treated with hormones and immunosuppressive drugs. Appropriate acetylcholinesterase inhibitors are used to improve the symptoms of myasthenia gravis. If the patient has oculomotor myasthenia gravis, better results can often be achieved.
