Whether the focal point is mild or severe

Focal should mean mild, in the postoperative pathology report, we can often find focal carcinoma, that is to say, the tumor cells can be found in a very small place in the specimen, and the depth of infiltration of the tumor cells is very superficial, usually infiltrating in the mucous membrane layer or submucous membrane layer without breaking through the muscular layer, or breaking through the plasma membrane layer. The T-stage of the tumor is limited to T1 or T2 stage, so it is relatively early, and there is no lymph node metastasis. For this kind of tumor staging, chemotherapy is not needed routinely after surgery, unless there are high risk factors, and oral chemotherapy is also needed.
