IVF does not necessarily require hysteroscopy, hysteroscopy is not a routine means of examination, and is only required if there is uterine pathology and multiple unsuccessful IVF attempts.
If the patient has abnormal endometrial echogenicity during ovulation monitoring, ultrasound and other routine examinations, or if she has been unsuccessful in multiple IVF attempts, she may be suffering from uterine pathology and should undergo a hysteroscopy.
If the diagnosis of uterine polyps, uterine adhesions and other diseases, should be targeted treatment before doing IVF, so as not to affect the implantation of embryos. If no obvious endometrial abnormality is found during ovulation monitoring, hysteroscopy is not necessary.
If the patient needs to do in vitro fertilization, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital, under the guidance of the doctor for examination, and follow the doctor’s instructions to determine whether hysteroscopy is necessary.
