Postoperative sequelae after cerebral hemorrhage in car accidents should be decided according to the patient’s hemorrhage, including the site and location of the hemorrhage, as well as the amount of hematoma and the patient’s own condition. Some patients with epidural hematoma have relatively mild sequelae, while patients with subdural or intracerebral hematoma have relatively severe sequelae. Common sequelae include headache, dizziness, focal neurologic dysfunction, such as hemiparesis, aphasia, epilepsy, personality changes, and traumatic mental disorder. In severe cases, coma can occur, or even prolonged unconsciousness into a vegetative state, which is the most serious sequelae.
