What are the risks of abortion for women?

China is a major abortion country. A peculiar phenomenon in China: there are more young people with abortions and more infertile people. In recent years, the problem of unwanted pregnancies and abortions among teenagers has gained increasing social attention. It is reported that the number of abortions in China is more than 13 million each year, and unmarried pregnancies and abortions at a younger age have become a very significant trend in recent years. About half of the women who have abortions each year are repeat abortions, half are under 25 years old, and one-third are pregnant for the first time. The main reason for the high rate of abortion is that most people have misconceptions about contraceptive knowledge: one is a fluke and the other is a desire to save time. Because of ignorance, they are fearless. Young people take a chance, thinking that because they are not married and do not have a regular sex life, they may not get pregnant once in a while. Although most people do abortion as a painless procedure, the damage done to women by abortion is very great, especially in patients with secondary infertility, the vast majority of whom have a history of abortion, and the incidence of disease increases with the number of abortions, and the proportion of secondary infertility caused by complications of abortion such as tubal obstruction, uterine adhesions and endometriosis also rises significantly. In addition, abortion increases the incidence of premature birth, fetal death, and placental abnormalities. At the same time, abortion can also produce different degrees of psychological stress on the female recipient, and the degree of psychological disorder is more serious in unmarried women.
