Hodan Capsule has the efficacy of resolving phlegm and subduing turbidity (removing phlegm and dampness), activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis in the body). It is used for hyperlipidemia with phlegm, turbidity and blood stasis (a series of symptoms caused by blockage of meridians and collaterals by phlegm, dampness and blood stasis). Lotus and Dan Capsules, Chinese patent medicine name. It is composed of Lotus leaf, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Hawthorn, Senna, and Psoralen (salt fried). Its adverse reactions are occasionally seen diarrhea, nausea, dry mouth.
