Six types of people are prone to shingles, not really. Shingles is an acute infectious skin disease caused by varicella-zoster virus infection. There are many susceptible people, not simply six. Susceptible people include those who are older; those with chronic illnesses, low or defective immunity, and chemotherapy for tumors; those with AIDS; and those who have been exposed to external stress, trauma to the body, infections, stress, and fatigue; as well as those who have received chemotherapy; and those who have not been vaccinated against chickenpox. After the varicella-zoster virus enters the body, there is a possibility that chickenpox may appear, or it may be a hidden infection, when the body is in the low immune ability, the latent virus will be activated and thus the onset of the disease. Shingles should be examined in a timely manner and treated as prescribed by the doctor.
