Small bowel gas, or “hernia”, is commonly found in the groin and umbilicus.
Small bowel gas is a condition in which the contents of the abdominal cavity protrude outward. It can be divided into various types depending on the location, and there are common inguinal hernia, femoral hernia and umbilical hernia.
1. Inguinal hernia: refers to an extra-abdominal hernia that occurs in the inguinal region, which has a hernia ring, hernia sac, hernia contents and hernia covers and other structures.
2. femoral hernia: refers to the hernia sac through the femoral ring, through the femoral canal to the oval fossa hernia.
