According to the different causes of toothache, it is mainly divided into three categories: soft tissue pain, odontogenic pain and toothache caused by systemic diseases.
1. Soft tissue pain: gingivitis, periodontitis, wisdom teeth coronary periodontitis, etc. are soft tissue caused by toothache, mostly manifested as swelling, dull pain. Gingivitis and periodontitis need to do periodontal sequence treatment, and wisdom tooth pericoronitis need to remove the wisdom tooth after anti-inflammatory.
2. Dental tissue origin pain: caries, endodontitis and apical periodontitis are all diseases of the dental tissues, and the pain caused by them is mostly manifested as hot and cold stimulation pain and sharp pain. Caries needs filling treatment, pulpitis and apical periodontitis need root canal treatment.
3. Toothache caused by systemic diseases: maxillary sinusitis, heart attack, trigeminal neuralgia and so on will cause toothache performance, the pain type is different, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital to check, clear diagnosis.
There may be other types of toothache, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital stomatology department, by the physician after examination and diagnosis and standardized treatment.
