Statin clinically usually refers to statin drugs. Drinking milk while taking statins generally does not cause or aggravate adverse drug reactions. However, people who need to use statin drugs often have hyperlipidemia, and it is recommended to choose low-fat or skimmed milk when drinking milk. Statins are mainly used in the treatment of type IIa and IIb hyperlipoproteinemia, and may cause headache, insomnia, depression, dyspepsia, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea and other adverse reactions, and should be contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women. However, at present, there is no evidence to confirm that milk and statin drugs have to take conflict. Milk is rich in nutrients, protein, calcium content, moderate consumption is beneficial to health. However, when taking statin drugs, it is recommended to drink low-fat or skimmed milk to reduce the intake of fat, which is more conducive to the treatment of one’s own pre-existing diseases.
