Is anemia always thalassemia?

Anemia is not necessarily thalassemia, anemia includes thalassemia, thalassemia is due to genetic factors that cause impaired synthesis of the peptide chain of pearl proteins resulting in hemolytic anemia in patients. Anemia includes many types, such as: 1. Nutritional anemia, like iron deficiency anemia, megaloblastic anemia. 2. Hemolytic anemia, commonly autoimmune hemolytic anemia, hereditary spherocytosis, sericulosis, paroxysmal sleep hemoglobinuria. 3. Aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome can also cause anemia, acute leukemia, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, etc. Malignant hematologic diseases can also present with anemia symptoms.
