What to do if you have recurring episodes of sweating herpes on your hands

Sweat herpes is a special type of hand eczema. Recurrent episodes of sweat herpes on the hands can usually be treated with topical medications, oral medications, and physical therapy.
1. medication: topical glucocorticoid ointment such as dianabed ointment to help anti-inflammatory and itch relief, calmodulin phosphatase inhibitors (such as tacrolimus ointment, pimecrolimus cream) also have a better therapeutic effect. If necessary, topical medications can be used to wet wrap the lesions.
2. Oral medication: When itching is severe and interferes with sleep, antihistamines such as loratadine may be considered. If necessary, oral glucocorticosteroids such as prednisone can be taken.
3. Physical therapy: Narrow-spectrum medium-wave ultraviolet (NB-UVB) and UVA1 can significantly improve herpes sweaty hands.
If the patient has recurrent episodes of herpes sweat on the hands, it is recommended to go to the hospital dermatology department, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, and do not use unauthorized medication.
