Notes for tomorrow’s medical examination

If you have a physical examination tomorrow, it is best not to eat after 10 pm 1 day in advance, because the physical examination requires fasting for at least 8 hours before, if the fasting time is not enough, it will affect the accuracy of the physical examination results, which will directly affect the blood biochemical examination and abdominal ultrasound examination. It is also recommended to try to eat a light diet 1 night before, eat easily digestible food, such as porridge, noodles and other more digestible food, do not eat too much. If you are too full or eat foods that are too greasy or sweet, the lipids in the blood test on the 2nd day, such as triglycerides, cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and blood glucose will be affected to varying degrees and may be elevated for a short time. Do not drink too much alcohol either. If you drink too much alcohol the night before, it will affect the blood test of liver function, and the transpeptidase will be elevated to different degrees, because the metabolism of alcohol is through the liver and kidney metabolism, and excessive drinking will damage the liver function and cause the abnormality of transpeptidase. Don’t exercise strenuously the night before, as strenuous exercise will affect the results of urine routine and kidney function tests on the second day.
