Qi deficiency with internal heat can be treated with Tonifying the Middle Jiao Qi Tang. In Chinese medicine, it is believed that prolonged illness or original physical weakness will lead to deficiency of qi, blood, yin and yang in the body, and an imbalance of yin and yang will cause fever. Internal heat is generated when there is a lack of middle qi (weak spleen and stomach qi) and yin and fire within the body. For this syndrome, commonly used medicines are mainly tonifying the middle Jiaozhong Yiqi Tang (补中益气汤) and Shengzhi Drink (生脉飲). Among them, tonifying the middle Jiaozhong and Yiqi Tang is effective in treating the symptoms of heat and spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by the slightest movement), shortness of breath and fatigue, pale tongue, and a large and feeble pulse caused by heat caused by deficiency of qi. It should be noted that people with fever due to Yin deficiency and internal heat are not recommended to use Tonifying the Middle Jiaozhong Yiqi Tang. For those with qi deficiency and internal heat, it is recommended to take the medication under the guidance of a doctor to avoid delaying the condition or producing adverse reactions.
