Huang Jing herb effects are to tonify qi and nourish yin, strengthen the spleen, moisten the lungs and benefit the kidneys. It works to treat conditions caused by deficiency of both qi and yin (deficiency of both qi and yin), deficiency of the lungs, spleen and kidneys.
Huangjing is the dried rhizome of Dian huangjing, Huangjing or Huangjing multiflora of the lily family. It is flat in nature, sweet in flavor, and belongs to the Lung, Spleen and Kidney meridians. Huangjing is mainly used in the clinic for treating weak spleen and stomach, body sleepiness and fatigue, dry mouth, thirst and excessive drinking, less appetite, lung deficiency, dry cough without phlegm, lack of essence and blood, internal heat, thirst and other conditions.
Adverse effects of Huang Jing are not clear, and caution is advised for those with spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction and phlegm-dampness congestion.
