Does painless cystoscopy bleed?

There may be a small amount of bleeding during a painless cystoscopy.
When doing painless cystoscopy, there may be mechanical damage to the urethra or bladder, causing a small amount of bleeding, such as a small amount of blood in the urine, which is normal. If the amount of bleeding after painless cystoscopy is relatively large, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible to clarify whether it is caused by a urinary tract infection or a larger mechanical injury of the examination, to avoid delaying the condition.
If the painless cystoscopy caused bleeding and the bleeding is relatively small, usually about two to three days may return to normal. After painless cystoscopy, be sure to drink plenty of plain water, which can speed up the elimination of urine and promote the recovery of the urethra or bladder. It should be noted that during the recovery period, coitus should be avoided to reduce the probability of urinary tract infection so as not to affect the recovery.
