There is no such thing as the best medicine for cervical spondylosis. Drugs for cervical spondylosis mainly include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, nutritive nerve drugs and drugs to reduce edema. 1. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs: the main role is to relieve pain, inhibit the inflammatory response. The mechanism of action is to reduce the synthesis of inflammatory mediators such as cyclooxygenase and prostaglandins, so as to achieve analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Commonly used drugs include diclofenac sodium, acetaminophen and so on. 2. Nutritional nerve drugs: these drugs can participate in the metabolism of the nerve, improve the circulation around the nerve, enhance nucleic acid and protein synthesis in the nerve cells, and to a certain extent can promote the recovery of nerve function. Commonly used drugs include methylcobalamin, vitamin B12, vitamin B1 and so on. 3. Drugs to reduce edema: herniated intervertebral disc will cause edema of the nerve root and surrounding tissues, and can use dehydration drugs to reduce edema compression. Commonly used drugs include sodium hepaticoside, mannitol and so on. All of the above drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor to avoid self-medication.
