How to take schizandra in water

Schisandra chinensis is a hard medicinal substance, and taking it in water may not achieve the original therapeutic efficacy of the drug. Decoction of 2~6g (one day’s dosage for adults) can achieve its best efficacy.
Schisandra chinensis is a traditional Chinese medicine, warm in nature, sour and sweet in taste, and belongs to the lung, heart and kidney meridians. Schisandra has the effects of tonifying the kidney and tranquilizing the heart, benefiting the qi and generating fluids (promoting the production of fluids by tonifying the qi), and astringent and solidifying the astringency (astringent and consolidating).
Schisandra chinensis can be used to treat prolonged coughing and asthma, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by the slightest movement of sweating), night sweating (abnormal sweating after falling asleep, sweating stops after waking up), dreaming and slippery semen, dysuria, frequent urination, prolonged diarrhea, thirst due to injury of the fluids, palpitation and insomnia due to internal injury and thirst.
Note that it should be taken with caution when there is external surface evil (evil on the surface of the muscle), when there is the first outbreak of measles, when there is internal dampness and heat, or when there is the first outbreak of cough.
Unlike decoction, the active ingredients of the drug are limited to be analyzed, and it can’t play a better therapeutic effect. It is recommended that under the guidance of a physician to recognize the evidence, not self-medication, to avoid causing adverse consequences.
