Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (NCVP) can be contracted at any age, from infants as young as 1 month old to elderly people as old as 80-90 years old. The fifth edition of the guidelines for the treatment of novel coronavirus pneumonia clearly states that the population is generally susceptible, i.e., the majority of the population is not immune to novel coronavirus pneumonia, and all people from infants to the elderly may be infected. Depending on the immunity of the individual, some people may have mild or no symptoms, while others may be critically ill after infection. This is related to the number of infected viruses, the viral viability, their own regulation, and the usual physical exercise. However, the virus is now somewhat self-limiting. So although the population is generally susceptible, there is no need to worry too much while taking precautions. Source: Dr. Yurai
