Nasal itch is a subjective feeling of nasal discomfort with a desire to scratch, caused mainly by inflammatory irritants or allergens. The most common nasal itch is mainly caused by allergens such as pollen and dust mites that irritate the nasal cavity, or it may be caused by congestion and edema of the nasal mucosa and increased secretions due to factors such as colds, and is a common manifestation of nasal or sinus disease.
